All 5 Of Enfield's Fire Departments Open To The Public This Weekend
The 2nd annual Enfield Fire Department open house will inform and inspire residents/families to see how Enfield's bravest maintain safety.
ENFIELD, CT — Folks are invited to visit all five of Enfield's firehouses on Saturday, Oct. 11, and, if they're inspired, they might want to sign up and join them as well.
For the second year in a row, the Fire Department of Enfield is hosting a full open house event at the town's five volunteer fire departments this Saturday.
Each firehouse will be open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. that day, with guests invited to visit each one and "learn something about fire safety and participate in fun activities."

Meanwhile, folks can also grab an application to volunteer with any of the departments, as volunteer firefighters are desperately being sought statewide.
The open houses will also feature plenty of kids' activities that will inform and inspire.

The following firehouses will be open during the event:
• Hazardville Fire District, 385 Hazard Ave.
• Shaker Pines Fire Dept., 37 Bacon Road.
• Enfield Fire District No. 1, 200 Phoenix Ave.
