Cats Found Abandoned In Filthy Carrier Along Enfield Roadway, Police Say

The animals were found without food or water, authorities say.

ENFIELD, CT — Four cats were found abandoned inside a filthy carrier on the side of a roadway on Monday, according to Enfield Police.

Enfield Animal Control said the carrier was extremely dirty, and the cats were covered in feces when they were found. There was no food or water inside the crate.

All four cats were impounded and are now in the care of Animal Control.
