Why are you seeking this office?
I love serving my community and helping to make their lives better.
What do you believe is the No. 1 issue facing Connecticut, and how do you plan to address it?
The economy. I oppose changing the Spending, Borrowing or Volatility Caps that have helped us pay down debt and I oppose raising any taxes.
There have been an alarming number of deaths on Connecticut's roadways. Is there anything from a legislative standpoint that can be done to address that?
We need to support law enforcement and recruit more troopers and officers to enforce our already stringent laws.
What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
Unfortunately most Democrats tend to march in "lock-step" once they land in Hartford, supporting liberal tax and spend policies.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
I fight bad bills and tax increases, protect my district, fight for full and fair education funding and can work across the aisle to pass bills like the anti-vaping bill proposed by the Enfield Youth Council; our constituent service is second to none.
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I am a faithful watchdog of your precious tax dollars and rights.
