Enfield 2024 Election Results: Kissel, Hall, Santanella Earn Seats
The polls have closed in Enfield for the 2024 elections, and here are the latest updates on how local residents voted.

ENFIELD, CT — Shortly after the polls closed Tuesday night, Vice President Kamala Harris was announced as the winner of Connecticut's seven electoral college votes, defeating former President Donald J. Trump and three other candidates, according to the Associated Press.
Also, U.S. Sen. Chris Murphy, D-CT, won re-election and a third term in Congress, according to projections. He defeated GOP challenger Matthew M. Corey and two other candidates.
Around 11:30 p.m., Republican challenger Mike France conceded his bid for the District 2 seat in the U.S. House of Representatives to longtime Democratic incumbent Joe Courtney.

Unofficial results indicate Republican State Sen. John Kissel retaining the 7th District seat, turning back the challenge of Cynthia Mangini. In one of the tightest races in the area, incumbent Republican Carol Hall prevailed in General Assembly District 59 by less than a percentage point over challenger Rick LeBorious.
Two Enfield town councilors, Democrat John Santanella and Republican Bob Hendrickson, squared off for the 58th House seat to be vacated by the retiring Tom Arnone. Santanella emerged victorious, with an unofficial margin of58 percent to Hendrickson's 42.
