ENFIELD, CT— Father's Day is the perfect time to give a big thanks to all the dads who put smiles on our faces. Enfield, meet Bob.

What makes your dad extra special?

My dad is a hardworking man with a heart of gold. He taught me the value of showing up, staying true and that no matter the circumstance everything will be okay. My dad has changed many lives, given opportunities to those he believed in and finds his happiness in his family. He would go to the ends of the earth for me, my sister, my mother and his grandkids.

Why do you feel your dad deserves the spotlight?

My dad is the type of person who would rather hold the spotlight and shine it on someone else; or use the bulb in another appliance! He doesn’t need the best or the most fancy, he doesn’t need the most shiny and to flash it. But…he deserves it all.
