Enfield Dad 'Never Fails To Make Us Laugh With His Dad Jokes'

ENFIELD, CT— Father's Day is the perfect time to give a big thanks to all the dads who put smiles on our faces. Enfield, meet Dwayne Thomas.

If you know a dad who sends sweet, silly or thoughtful texts your way, you’re pretty lucky. Texts from Dad have a way of putting a smile on our faces — and this Father’s Day, we’re celebrating the fathers behind the phones!

Patch has partnered with T-Mobile to shine a light on awesome dads and the funny, insightful things they say. This submission comes from Abigail who nominated Dwayne Thomas of Enfield.

What makes your dad extra special?

My dad is an extremely hard worker. For 20 years Mom, Sarah Thomas, and Dad, Dwayne Thomas have had their own business as Photographers. Now it has extended to Photo booths and Dwyane has his very own store at Enfield Square called SSuPhoto Design, selling custom design products! He is an amazing Husband, Dad to His two kids, Abigail and Ryan (14), Amazing friend, Boss, Brother, and Uncle. He never gives up. He's a very handy guy, as well. He celebrated his first Father's Day on June 16th, 2002, when his now 21-year-old was born. Dwyane is loved for his jokes and his passion for his work. He is always there when needed. We are extremely proud of him for what he has done.

Why do you feel your dad deserves the spotlight?

He is one of the hardest-working people I know besides Mom, of course! He is thriving with the small business he runs and the amount of creativity he has inside, and never fails to make us laugh with his dad jokes :) Happy Father's Day, Dad. We love you!
