Gunshots Fired Near Enfield Financial Consulting Firm; Suspect Taken Into Custody

ENFIELD, CT — Gunshots were fired near a financial consulting business on Route 190 late Wednesday night, and a suspect was captured shortly thereafter in nearby Agawam, Mass.

Around 10:22 p.m., police were dispatched to the area of 268 Hazard Avenue, home of InnoVest Financial Services. Evidence on scene confirmed shots had been fired, and a BOLO (be on the lookout) was transmitted for a suspect, police said.

Shortly before 11:30 p.m., Agawam police took Christopher Reilly, 45, into custody, and recovered multiple firearms from his vehicle. He is being held in Agawam on a $10,000 cash bond on various charges, including being a fugitive from justice. He is slated to appear in court in Massachusetts Friday.

Relevant charges for the shooting incident will be the subject of an arrest warrant being sought by Enfield police, Chief Alaric Fox said.

No injuries were reported.
