ENFIELD, CT — Enfield seniors can earn a break on their property taxes by giving back to the community in 2025 through the town’s Senior Volunteer Tax Credit Program.
The program allows eligible residents age 65 and older to receive a tax credit of up to $400 by volunteering at approved nonprofit organizations located in Enfield.
To qualify, participants must complete at least 75 hours of volunteer service between January 1st and December 31st, 2025. Once those hours are completed, volunteers submit a signed form through the Enfield Senior Center for verification. Approved credits will be applied to the July 2026 property tax bill.
