Hoffman Foundation Grant Awarded to St. Bernard School

Saint Bernard School received a grand from the Maximilian E. & Marion O. Hoffman Foundation, Inc. to fund technology projects.

ENFIELD, CT - In the fall of 2015, Saint Bernard School applied for the Maximilian E. & Marion O. Hoffman Foundation, Inc. grant, requesting funding to support the school’s technology plan which included many upgrades. In the spring, the school community was very excited to discover they were going to be awarded $50,000 to begin their technology projects. Due to the wonderful generosity of the Hoffman Foundation, St. Bernard School has been able to provide one-to-one tablets for all 47 junior high school students, and eight 70 inch televisions to enhance classroom instruction using Google Education. A digital microscope was also purchased for the 7th grade Life Science teacher. The media center was completely overhauled with brand new computers as well as touch-screen monitors. St. Bernard School is taking education into the 21st Century and beyond.
