Kids Can Always Count On Enfield Dad, Family Says

ENFIELD, CT— Father's Day is the perfect time to give a big thanks to all the dads who put smiles on our faces. Enfield, meet Tyler Howarth.

If you know a dad who sends sweet, silly or thoughtful texts your way, you’re pretty lucky. Texts from Dad have a way of putting a smile on our faces — and this Father’s Day, we’re celebrating the fathers behind the phones!

Patch has partnered with T-Mobile to shine a light on awesome dads and the funny, insightful things they say. This submission comes from Addison Emerson Kinsley Howarth who nominated Tyler Howarth of Enfield.

What makes your dad extra special?

You can always count on him. He’s at every school and sporting event. He reads to our classrooms and spoke at Stowe Early Learning Center about space. He became an assistant soccer coach one year. He enjoys always being present.

Why do you feel your dad deserves the spotlight?

My dad is one of the best dads you’ll ever meet. He loves to cook for us and make sure we always have our favorite snacks. He loves to travel with us and teach us about all the new lakes we go boating on. He makes the best sand castles, watches all the new movies together and sings our special song “Three Little Birds” by the Chipmunks.
