Man Killed In Enfield Pickup Truck Collision: Police
The 57-year-old was rushed to a hospital late Tuesday morning, but was later pronounced dead.
ENFIELD, CT — Local police are investigating a crash late Tuesday morning that claimed the life of a 57-year-old male.
According to the Enfield Police Department, its traffic division is investigating a motor vehicle collision that occurred on Tuesday at about 10:09 a.m.
The accident, police said, happened at 14 Douglas Road and involved a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck.

Police said the owner of the truck, identified as 57-year-old Michael Swart, was taken to Johnson Memorial Hospital in Stafford Springs with "serious life-threatening" injuries, but he was pronounced dead hours later.
The EPD Traffic Division is still investigating the accident, and anyone with information regarding the collision is asked to call Enfield PD Officer P. Nisyrios at 860-763-8985.
