ENFIELD, CT — A man received gunshot wounds Wednesday morning, and police have centered an investigation on a house on Windsor Street, according to Police Chief Alaric Fox.

Shortly after 7 a.m., a man suffering from gunshot wounds presented himself for treatment at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. He has undergone surgery, and his care is continuing at that facility, Fox said.

Investigation into the shooting indicates the potential location of the incident was on Windsor Street. Police have been on-site at that location throughout the day, in conjunction with the Connecticut State Police Central District Major Crime Squad, are expected to be at that house for the balance of the afternoon and evening, Fox said.
