Multiple Enfield PD Officers Earn Promotions
The Enfield Police Department last week announced that four of its own will have new roles within the force.

ENFIELD, CT — Multiple law enforcement careers advanced last week within the Enfield Police Department, with four members earning promotions to new rols.
Four officers were promoted on Thursday, Oct. 2, at a ceremony held in the council chambers at Enfield Town Hall.
The following law enforcers were promoted:

• Connor Wyllie was promoted to sergeant. Wyllie has served with the Enfield Police Department since 2019.
He has served as a department photographer, field training officer, drug recognition expert, member of the honor guard, social media team, and as an Explorer Program advisor.

• Adam Borawski was promoted to detective.
Borawski has served with the Enfield Police Department since 2019. From 2015 until 2019, he served as a career Firefighter/EMT with the Hazardville Fire Department.
In addition to being a patrol officer, he has served as a field training officer, firearms instructor, and drone operator.
• Brett Whitcomb was promoted to detective. Whitcomb has served with the Enfield Police Department since 2014.
Before being hired by EPD, he was a police officer in California for three years. Most recently, he has served in the EPD Community Police Unit. In addition to those responsibilities, he also serves as a field training officer and a drug recognition expert.
• Vanessa Magagnoli was promoted to detective. Magagnoli has served with the Enfield Police Department since 2006.
She has served as a firearms instructor, field training officer, liaison to Special Olympics CT, and is the local President and a Board of Directors Member of the Police Association of Connecticut.
