• Enfield Location On The Latest Game Stop Store Hit List (patch.com) — Enfield residents are losing their local GameStop at Enfield Square Mall, one of five Connecticut locations included in the company’s latest round of store closures. The shutdown reflects GameStop’s broader move away from brick-and-mortar shops amid revenue struggles and a growing shift toward digital game purchases, which has already erased several other Connecticut stores.
   

• New Leader Named For Enfield Police Explorers (patch.com) — Enfield families are seeing a big change in the Police Explorers program as longtime Lead Advisor Lt. Pedemonti retires after 16 years guiding local youth. Sergeant Wyllie is stepping in to lead the Enfield Police Explorers, which continues to emphasize community service and development opportunities for teens and young adults in town.
   

• DMV builds new EV charging stations, experts say state still has more work to do (nbcconnecticut.com) — New EV charging stations are now available at the Enfield DMV branch, giving local electric vehicle drivers another fast-charging option on their regular routes. State transportation experts say this is just one step in a larger push to expand Connecticut’s charging network using settlement funds and federal NEVI dollars over the next several years.
