Program To Help Enfield Residents Spot And Avoid Scams
The event will offer practical tips to help residents protect themselves from fraud and identity theft.
ENFIELD, CT — The Enfield Senior Center will host an AARP Fraud Watch Network presentation later this month aimed at helping residents recognize and avoid scams.
The program is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 15, at 1:30 p.m. and will feature presenters John Coates and Veda White from the AARP Fraud Watch Network.

According to organizers, the presentation will cover how to proactively spot common scams, what steps to take if someone has been targeted, and how AARP advocates at the federal, state, and local levels to protect consumers and enforce the law.
Space is limited, and reservations are required. Residents are asked to call 860-763-7425 to reserve a spot.
