• Toy Maker Confirms Timeline For Enfield Exit After Nearly 50 Years (patch.com) — Longtime employer LEGO is preparing to close its Enfield offices after nearly 50 years, affecting about 350 local employees as operations shift to Boston and Tempe. While the Enfield site winds down in late 2026, the company will keep a smaller regional footprint with a new Windsor Locks warehouse and retain its Connecticut retail stores.
   

• Enfield Seeks Redesign Of Thompsonville Streets (patch.com) — Enfield is moving ahead with plans to redesign key Thompsonville streets around the future Enfield Station, aiming to improve safety and access for walkers, cyclists, and drivers. Using $1 million in federal funding, the town is seeking a consultant to update designs for Main, North Main, and Pearl streets, with proposals due Feb. 19 and work expected to wrap by June 30, 2026.
