Police, Staffer Save Life With Emergency Measures At Enfield Sub Shop
Two Enfield police officers are being credited with saving a woman who was not breathing at a local business.

ENFIELD, CT — Enfield police officers and a civilian are being credited with saving a woman who was suffering a medical emergency at a local business, chief Alaric Fox said.
On Wednesday, the two officers were investigating a fraud complaint at the local Olive Garden restaurant at 41 Hazard Ave. While they were there, a medical emergency call came in from the Jersey Mike's at 39 Hazard Ave., according to an incident report.
A 27-year-old woman had fallen at the sub shop, was not breathing and had no pulse, Fox said.

The officers ran to Jersey Mike's and, with the help of a Jersey Mike's staff member and two more officers, initiated life-saving measures, according to an incident report. Enfield EMS and fire crews also rushed to the scene.
The woman began breathing on her own prior to being taken to an area hospital.. She is "still alive" and receiving care, according to an incident report.
