Putting Others' Families Before Their Own: Enfield Heroes

ENFIELD, CT — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. Together with Ring, we're working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.

This submission comes from Monique McLaurin, who nominated the nurses and nurses' aides at Parkway Pavilion on Route 5 in Enfield.

Reason for recognition: All nurses' aides and nurse employees at Parkway Pavilion are heroes, because we all come together to help others' family members and keep them safe, strong, healthy from the COVID-19 and other diagnoses.

One thing to know: The nurses' aides and nurses will put another family member before their own.
