Safely Dump Your Drugs During Enfield PD Event Saturday
The Enfield PD is taking part in 'National Drug Take Back Day,' with two locations in town taking unwanted/unused drugs.
ENFIELD, CT — Folks looking to safely dump their unused and unwanted medications can do so this weekend in Enfield.
This year’s federal Drug Enforcement Agency National Drug Take Back Day will take place this Saturday, Oct. 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
"This initiative provides an opportunity for the safe, convenient, and responsible disposal of unused or expired prescription medications," wrote the Enfield Police Department.

There are two Enfield drop-off locations:
• Enfield Police Department – 293 Elm St., Enfield. A secure drug collection bin is available in the front lobby and can be accessed anytime for safe disposal.

• Enfield Town Hall – 820 Enfield St. Representatives from the EPD will be on-site Saturday, Oct. 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to collect prescription drugs for disposal.
