1. The town of Essex called a special town meeting for Wednesday, October 5 at 6:45 p.m. at the town hall and via Zoom. The agenda includes expenditures of American Rescue Plan Act funds. 2. Deep River is seeking bids for the purchase of computers and accessories along with a maintenance and/or service contract for same. A full description and the RFP can be found at www.deepriverct.us. Sealed bids must be received by Friday, October 7 by noon. (Town of Deep River)
3. A town meeting will be held in Chester at 7 p.m. on October 12 at the Chester Meeting House. The agenda includes allocation of American Rescue Plan Act funds and to appoint Richard Strauss as a full member of the Region 4 Board of Education to fill a vacancy until the November 2023 election."
