There is a lot going on in the Nutmeg State this weekend, here are some examples: 5th Annual Garlic Festival at Olde Mistick Village, The 9th annual Two Roads Ok2berfest, The Guilford Fair, The Orange Country Fair, The Watertown Fall Festival and more.   2. Horse lovers take note! The Lower Connecticut River Valley Horseman's Club Fall Festival Hunter Pace is set to be held on Sunday, October 9 at the Weber Woods section of Cockaponset State Forest. It starts at 898 Stevenstown Road, Deep River. It is a timed ride through the trails of Weber Woods, part of Cockaponset State Forest. The terrain is varied. Jumping is optional. The course is approximately 9 miles. You may ride alone or with teams up to three people. All riding disciplines are welcome. There will be hunter and hacker divisions.
