Part-Time Cop Charged With Operating Under Influence: Police
The current Deep River officer is a retired state police trooper, according to police.
OLD SAYBROOK, CT — A Deep River police constable has been accused of driving under the influence over the weekend in Old Saybrook, according to police.
Scott Wisner, 58, of Old Lyme, was charged Saturday on Ferry Road at 11:24 p.m. with one count of illegal operation while under the influence, Old Saybrook police said.
Wisner is scheduled to appear in Superior Court in Middletown on March 3.

Wisner is a retired Connecticut state police trooper. He currently works as a part-time officer for Deep River, state police confirmed via an email on Monday.
State police deferred further comment to Deep River officials, who did not immediately respond to a request for comment Monday.
