Bridge Repairs to Cause Lane Closures on I-95 in Westport
Work will be done in the overnight hours throughout September.

Concrete joint repairs to the I-95 bridge that spans the Saugatuck River in Westport will cause lane closures in both directions throughout September.
The project began Wednesday and is expected to continue from 9 p.m. – 5 a.m. Monday – Thursday until September 27, according to a news release from the office of State Senator John McKinney (R-Fairfield).
Motorists can expect lane closures on I-95 Northbound and Southbound between Exit 17 (Route 136, Saugatuck Avenue) and Exit 18 (SR 476, Sherwood Island Connector) in Westport.

Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity, according to the release.
