Party Affiliation:
Democratic

Occupation:
Corporate attorney with Pullman & Comley. I have practiced law for almost 40 years.

Family:
I have 2 grown children who were raised in Wilton, CT and live in Brooklyn.

Does anyone in your family work in politics or government?
No

Previous public office, appointive or elective:
I have served on the RTM for 10 years. I was appointed to the Charter Revision Commission that just concluded its work. I served on Wilton's Inland Wetlands commission years ago.

Why are you seeking this office?
I feel that I have contributed a lot to the Town in my role as a member of the RTM and I want to continue to do so. I love Fairfield and want to continue to serve my constituents and work to make the town even better and stronger than it is.

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
I have had 10 years of experience in this position, including serving in leadership positions as Moderator and Majority Leader of the RTM and chairing the RTM Rules to Regulate committee and the RTM redistricting committee, in addition to my work on the Charter Revision Commission. I understand how our town government works and can continue to contribute to the town in an effective and positive way.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
I have drafted a number of ordinances and revised the Rules to Regulate of the RTM with my colleagues. My training and experience as an attorney has been useful in my role with the RTM. The work I did with the other members of the Charter Revision Commission will, if approved by the voters, modernize the town's charter and better reflect how our town government operates.
