Fairfield Chamber Announces FELO Boat Cruise

The Fairfield Chamber of Commerce: The Fairfield Chamber of Commerce is happy to announce that its emerging professional group (FELO – Fairfield Emerging Leaders Organization) is having its second “Signature” networking event on May 31st, aboard PRUDENCE, docked in front of the Delamar Greenwich Harbor Hotel.

Join the much-anticipated fun at this annual event and breathe-in the salty air while relaxing with friends and colleagues. This cruise experience is provided by Greenwich Harbor Cruises, LLC, and is extraordinarily special, with surrounding waters, islands and sky views, all creating an unforgettable experience, capturing the imagination of every passenger. The ticket price includes drinks, beverages and appetizers.

A great way to kick-off the summer, so don’t miss the boat! Leaving from dock at the luxury Delamar Hotel in Greenwich, passengers will enjoy cruising around Greenwich Harbor, seeing spectacular views and waterfronts unique to this harbor alone. With a historic flair on the yacht “Prudence”, a 62 foot passenger vessel, beautiful scenery abounds from North to South, East to West … and what a sunset!

FELO is an emerging professionals group within the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce. This new organization of dynamic leaders, includes professionals from many business sectors, and is comprised of entry to management levels in their current company.

FELO’s mission is to provide a platform for emerging professionals to engage in business sponsored activities and connect with like-minded individuals which will enhance professional skills, while promoting social & civic opportunities for the enrichment of the business community.

In addition, FELO is responsible for raising money to provide two scholarships for graduating Fairfield high school students (one from Warde and Ludlowe), either attending a business school or majoring in business. The scholarship program, now in its third year, has shown significant growth, as FELO was able to increase its scholarship levels in 2016, from $500 to $1,500 per student! FELO members are always very proud about their contributions towards education and knowing that they help “make a difference” in a student’s future career through their scholarship program.
