Fairfield Leaf Blower Thief Nabbed

Leonardo Cirino, 37, of Seymour, was charged with fifth-degree larceny on Dec. 2 at approximately 7:50 a.m.

According to police, Cirino allegedly stole two leaf blower backpacks, valued at $900 each, from the rear of a vehicle parked on Skytop Terrace in Fairfield in August 2013.

Cirino was released on a written promise to appear and is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 10.
