Fairfield Man Accused of Throwing Groceries at Wife
The suspect was charged with assault after his wife reported that he threw a bag of groceries and two containers of yogurt at her on Feb. 28, according to police.

A 43 year-old Fairfield man was arrested on Wednesday after his wife reported that he assaulted her, according to police.
The victim told police that on Feb. 28, her husband began to attack her after she accused him of having an affair. Police said that the suspect threw a bag of groceries at the victim, which hit her arm and then threw two containers of yogurt, one of which struck her in the face.

According to police, the victim had a slight mark on her face and a bruise on her arm when she reported the incident. The suspect was charged with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault and was scheduled to appear in court on March 14.
