Fairfield Public Library Announces Popup with Day One Skate Shop

Registration for the event opens Tuesday, July 26.

Meet the skaters from Day One Skate Shop, marvel at the tricks performed in their new video and design your own board art. One lucky artist will have his or her design put onto a skate board! Learn how skateboards have changed through the decades, and bring your own board along if you have a question for the pros. This program is for kids entering grades 3-7. Join us on Tuesday, Aug. 2 at 4:30 p.m. in the Rotary Room at the main library, 1080 Old Post Rd. Registration is required and begins on Tuesday, July 26.

Day One Skate Shop has been a Fairfield staple since 2009. They specialize in locally made and independently owned boards, trucks and other skate equipment. Day One recently debuted their shop video Pushing Up Hill at the Fairfield Theatre Company.
