From the Fairfield Public Library: Are you ready for the annual Teen Summer Challenge at the Fairfield Public Library? This year’s theme is “Build a Better World” and, as always, the Challenge is not just about reading, it’s about discovering, creating, doing and volunteering. Teens entering grade 6 and up can begin by visiting here for Summer Challenge details. Once you’ve registered and set up your personal profile, you can start earning points toward prizes. The more points earned the more chances to win. Prizes, including the legendary Mystery Prize, will be raffled off at the annual finale party on August 3. There will also be a weekly raffle for gift cards to local and online stores.

Join us for the Summer Challenge Kick-off Pizza Party on Thursday, June 15 from 2:50 to 4:45 pm, downUNDER at the Fairfield Woods Branch Library, 1147 Fairfield Woods Road. Learn more about the Summer Challenge and watch the “The LEGO Batman Movie”. Registration is required.

Summer brings time to rest and relax, but it is also offers time to enrich yourself and the world around you – with the Teen Summer Challenge.
