Cooley spent five seasons with the Stags, leading the program to a 92-69 overall record and a 58-32 MAAC mark. At Providence, Cooley has won 103 games in his five-year stay with the Friars and brought the program to two NCAA tournament appearances. He led the Stags to a .500 or better mark in MAAC play in each of his first five years, the first Fairfield coach to accomplish that task. He led Fairfield to an NIT berth in his final season at the helm, earning a win over Colorado State on the road. Fairfield won a school-record 25 games in that 2010-11 campaign.
Johnson has also enjoyed success in the CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament (CIT), winning three games and reaching the tournament semifinals in his first year at the helm of Fairfield. He has led the Stags to three postseason berths in his five seasons as the head coach, including a berth in the CIT in 2015. Johnson posted 19 or more wins in three years with Fairfield, including a 22-win effort in his inaugural year at the helm. He also registered 19 victories in 2012-13 and 2015-16. He came to Fairfield after posting 66 wins in four seasons at Princeton, leading the Tigers to an NCAA tournament berth.
