Fairfield University's Women's Basketball Coach To Discuss Recruitment

FAIRFIELD, CT — Fairfield University is proud to announce its new monthly speaker series, Campus Connect, featuring experts from their faculty and staff, as well as members of the town government and schools, starting this September.

“Recruitment Insights from Fairfield’s Head Women’s Basketball Coach Carly Thibault- DuDonis” will kick-off the series on Tuesday, Sep. 24, from 7–8 p.m., at the Fairfield University Store, 1499 Post Road in downtown Fairfield.

Coach Thibault-DuDonis will lend her knowledge and experience with the college sports recruitment process – expanding on topics like “finding your fit, knowing your priorities, red flags for coaches, and best practices for connection and communication.”

Coach Thibault-DuDonis is a dynamic voice on the court and within the NCAA Division I landscape. Since being named the Head Coach of the Stags women’s basketball program in 2022, she has already brought the Stags to their most historic season in school history, which included the 2024 MAAC Championship, the team's first-ever AP Top 25 ranking, 29 straight victories and a trip to the NCAA Tournament.

The next Campus Connect event will be “Navigating the 2024 Election in the Age of AI and Social Media” on Wednesday, October 16, from 7-8 p.m. Dr. Gayle A. Alberda, associate professor of politics; and Dr. Philip Z. Maymin, associate professor of analytics, will discuss how technology and information sharing during elections are affected in the age of new social technologies.
