Five Things, Fourth of July: Red, White & Blue Scavenger Hunt

Here are five things to know about Fairfield for Thursday, July 4:

1. The weather. There's a slight chance of thunderstorms and showers after 3 p.m., with fog in the forecast for the morning. Otherwise, expect party sunny skies with temperatures reaching a high near 84, and a low near 71 in the evening.

2. Holiday traffic. Traveling for the holiday? Check out the roads before you go.

3. Fireworks. Fireworks will be launched from a barge in Long Island Sound off the coast of Penfield and Jennings beaches in Fairfield at around 9:15 p.m. Thursday. For more information, click here.
