
Jelani Lemon, 22, of Naugatuck, was charged with theft of a firearm, third-degree larceny, interfering with an officer and second-degree reckless endangerment on Nov. 15 at approximately 10:50 a.m.
According to police, officers observed Lemon traveling eastbound on Post Road in Fairfield on a stolen motorcycle. Lemon attempted to elude police, but was later taken into custody.
The bike was reported stolen out of Bridgeport where Lemon allegedly told the owner he was interested in buying it and took it for a test drive and did not return it, according to police. Lemon was in possession of a .32 caliber handgun and a knife when stopped by police.

Lemon was held on $10,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 15.
