Police: Fairfield Man Violated Protective Order

David Maldonado, 31, of Fairfield, was charged with violation of a protective order on Dec. 1 at approximately 1 p.m.

According to police, Maldonado had a no contact order with a female following a recent domestic violence incident. Maldonado allegedly violated that order when he sent two emails to the female he was not to be in contact with, according to police. 

Maldonado was released on $5,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 2.
