Preparations Underway For Annual Field Of Valor In Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, CT — It’s that time of year! The Kiwanis Club of Fairfield is sponsoring our eighth(!!) annual Field of Valor to honor Military Veterans and those actively serving our country for Veterans Day. The display of more than 300 large (3' by 5') US Flags will be in Jennings Park on the Post Road in Fairfield.

You are invited to sponsor family members or friends who served our country, or veterans in general, with a flag in our display. Your name and the name of your Honoree will be proudly attached to your flag. Once the display is complete, you may choose to pick up your flag as a keepsake.

The cost to sponsor a flag is $25.00. Proceeds will support Homes for the Brave in Bridgeport, which provides vocational training and services to unhoused veterans. To sponsor a flag, please use our Online Order Form. If you are repeating a prior sponsorship, all you have to do is provide your name and the name(s) of your honoree(s) – we will add the additional information re service, etc., previously provided. Payment may be made by Credit Card or PayPal or by check.

Please save the date for our Dedication Ceremony - 2:00 pm on Sunday November 3rd at Jennings Park.
