Vitale - The Right Experience, The Right Choice for Fairfield
Former Fairfield BOE Chair Endorses Vitale

Christine Vitale's campaign theme says it all – Better Together!
From the Fairfield PTA to Chair of the Board of Education to Interim and now First Selectperson, Christine has consistently listened to people and acted on their concerns. Better together is how she lives.
Talk is cheap; action counts. Two examples:

Christine led the Board of Education during the COVID pandemic, bringing together the board, school staff, and community to make difficult decisions during an unprecedented public health crisis. For six years, I served as Fairfield BOE’s chair, thus am very familiar with the demands citizens place on this position. I know first-hand why people say it is the most difficult elected office to hold. Christine was my successor as chair. I have a great deal of respect and admiration for how she led the Fairfield BOE.
More recently, she united Fairfield University and town officials to organize SantaCon as a fun, safe event that balanced student enjoyment with safety and resident concerns.

Christine's ability to satisfy diverse constituencies reflects genuine care for every citizen. Fairfield's residents—seniors on fixed incomes, families seeking quality education, parents of special needs children, homeowners protecting property values—all have unique needs she understands.
Christine is not a career politician. She earned a paycheck with a local business, raised a family, and volunteered at the grassroots level. She listens with empathy and understanding. Fairfield needs a working leader who develops viable solutions to real problems, not someone who shows up for cameras and ribbon cuttings. That person is Christine Vitale. A vote for Christine is a vote for competence, compassion, and continuity.
On February 3rd, please join me in voting for Christine Vitale for First Selectperson.
