Woman Charged With Shoplifting at Kohl’s

Woman was allegedly shopping with her two young children while attempting to steal jewelry and other items.

Maria Carmen Pintado was charged with sixth-degree larceny on September 14 at approximately 2:51 p.m.

According to police, Pintado was caught shoplifting when she concealed several items, including jewelry, and attempted to exit Kohl’s, 290 Tunxis Hill Road, Fairfield, while shopping with her nine-year-old and six-year-old daughters.  

Pintado was released on a written promise to appear and is scheduled to appear in court on September 23.
