50 Cent's Farmington Mansion Sold: TMZ

The entertainment web site says the buyer plans to convert the estate into an assisted living facility.

FARMINGTON, CT - After attempts to sell his Farmington mansion have ebbed and flowed for the past nine years, a buyer has finally been found for 50 Cent's sprawling estate.

Entertainment web site TMZ.com reported the rapper's 21-bedroom home has been sold for $8 million, which is $10.5 million less than the star's original listing price back in 2007.

The Poplar Hill Drive home, which was formerly owned by heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson, was purchased by 50 Cent (real name: Curtis Jackson III) in 2003 for just over $4 million.
