Attempted Residential Burglary Leads To 2 Arrests: Farmington Police
They also had warrants outstanding from Avon police for similar crimes in the area of the Farmington/Avon town line, police said.
FARMINGTON, CT — Two people have been charged in connection to a residential burglary that occurred in May 2024, police said.
On Thursday, police arrested Misael Agustin De La Colina Palomino, 32, of Alexandria, VA and Alexandria Ninoska Bravo Valencia, 27, of Alexandria, VA due to outstanding warrants, police said.
Palomino and Valencia also had warrants outstanding from the Avon Police Department for similar crimes in the area of the Farmington/Avon town line, police said.

Both suspects were located by the Avon Police Department and ultimately brought to Hartford Superior Court, where they were arrested via Habeas, police said.

Palomino and Valencia were linked to a residential burglary that occurred in Farmington on May 7 in the area of Mountain Spring Road, police said.
"In May 2024, Farmington Officers responded to a local residence when the homeowner called 911 after hearing a window at the rear of the residence break," police said in a news release. "Upon checking the residence Officers observed a broken window with a damaged screen. No suspects were located in the home at that time. Through a lengthy investigation and collaboration with the Avon Police Department suspects were developed and arrest warrants were issued. "
They were both charged with conspiracy to commit first-degree burglary, and Misael Agustin De La Colina Palomino was additionally charged with criminal attempt of first-degree burglary.
Police said they have identified additional suspects and expect to make more arrests in the future.
