Avon Man Wins Big After Playing Lotto Game In Farmington

FARMINGTON/AVON, CT — An Avon man's recent trip to a Farmington gas station resulted in a lottery game payout that likely had him smiling.

According to the Connecticut Lottery Corp., the Avon resident won $30,000 on Monday, July 28, playing the 3X The Cash 12th Edition scratch-off lottery game.

The game costs $3 to play, and the maximum payout is $30,000.

The winning ticket was purchased at the Bolan Shell gas station located at 1795 Farmington Ave. in the Unionville section of Farmington.
