Caregivers Invited To Farmington Forum On Dementia/Alzheimer's
The regular support group meets in-person and virtually later this week at a Farmington assisted living community.
FARMINGTON, CT — A support group for caregivers of loved ones dealing with Alzheimer's and other dementia-related conditions will meet in Farmington this week.
"Hearts, Hugs & Hope," an Alzheimer’s support group offered by Farmington Station, will take place Thursday, Oct. 16, at 6 p.m. at Farmington Station Assisted Living and Memory Care Community, 111 Scott Swamp Road, Farmington.
"Dealing with Alzheimer's disease and related dementia isn't easy, so it is helpful to share your concerns and personal experiences with others who completely understand what you're going through," wrote Farmington Station in an announcement.

Attendees will learn about proven strategies to better care for family members and loved ones.
Groups are held on the third Thursday of each month, both in person and via Zoom.
