Early Voting, Absentee Ballots In Farmington, What You Need To Know

Absentee ballots are now available in Farmington, with early voting slated to start later this month.

FARMINGTON, CT — Less than a month away from the November municipal elections, local officials have released information about absentee ballots and early voting.

Absentee ballots for the upcoming election are now available, and all ballots must be returned no later than 8 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 4.

To receive a ballot, one must first complete and submit an absentee ballot application.

Those needing absentee ballots are eligible if:
• They will be out of town on Election Day.
• Illness or physical disability prevents them from voting in person.
• They are serving in the military.
• Religious beliefs prevent folks from voting in person/
• They are working as an election official outside your polling place.

Meanwhile, folks looking to vote early can do so from Monday, Oct. 20, to Sunday, Nov. 2.

Early voting will take place at the Farmington Town Hall Pavilion (rear lot of Town Hall, 1 Monteith Drive).
