Elderly Man Hit By Hit-And-Run Truck In Farmington: Police
Farmington police are looking for what is believed to be a white box truck.

FARMINGTON, CT — An elderly male pedestrian from Rocky Hill was injured in a hit-and-run collision with a box truck on Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Farmington Police Department, officers were called to Plainville Avenue (Route 177) near Depot Place at about 1 p.m. Wednesday for a reported motor vehicle accident.
Police said the collision involved a motor vehicle and a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, identified as a 76-year-old male from Rocky Hill, sustained what is suspected to be minor injuries and was transported by AMR Ambulance to an area hospital, according to the FPD.
The vehicle involved in the incident was described as a white box truck with no known markings that fled the scene heading southbound on Route 177 toward Scott Swamp Road (Route 6).
