Every year Farmington has two parades to memorialize the local veterans who have passed.
Veterans, firefighters, police, Farmington High School and Irving A. Robbins bands, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Lions Club members, town officials, the FHS crew 2013 state champions and many others marched in the Unionville parade Monday morning.
Paul Krause, a 2005 FHS grad, firefighter and veteran, was the featured speaker at the Memorial Day ceremony at the gazebo in front of Union School.
The Farmington parade was earlier that morning on Main Street.
