Farmington Bank Gives $4K to Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation

From Sullivan & LeShane Public Relations: The Farmington Bank Community Foundation recently presented the Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation, Inc. with a $4,000 grant to support the organization’s partnership program. Fidelco is dedicated to promoting increased independence to individuals who are blind by providing them with the highest quality German Shepherd Guide Dogs.

In addition, Fidelco-trained German Shepherds are provided to law enforcement agencies, first responders, and search-and-rescue organizations to help protect our fellow citizens and keep communities safe. Deb Bazzano, commercial loan assistant of Farmington Bank, has participated in Fidelco’s Puppy Raiser Program that provides the first important influence in the lives of the Fidelco pups. She is fostering her second German Shepherd, Deegan. Her first, Prada, spent 16 months with Bazzano, then completed formal training and was placed with a client. Both dogs spent a lot of time with Bazzano during working hours at Farmington Bank.
