Farmington Facility Offers Help For Alzheimer's Caregivers
The assisted living center has created a support group for those with loved ones battling Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia.

FARMINGTON, CT — A local assisted living facility is offering a special program next week for those with loved ones dealing with Alzheimer's disease.
Called "Hearts, Hugs & Hope: An Alzheimer’s Support Group," the event is being hosted by Farmington Station Assisted Living and Memory Care Community.

It will be at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 15, at the facility, which is located at 111 Scott Swamp Road, Farmington.
"Dealing with Alzheimer's disease and related dementia isn't easy, so it is helpful to share your concerns and personal experiences with others who completely understand what you're going through," wrote Farmington Station in an announcement.

Guests will learn about proven strategies to help you better care for your family members.
This group is being offered both in person and via Zoom.
