Farmington Family Claims Bear Attacked Car: Report
The state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection is urging folks to be bear aware this time of year.
FARMINGTON, CT — A family told a local television news station that the damage inflicted on their vehicle over the weekend was caused not by an accident, but by a bear.
The anonymous family showed images of a badly damaged car that featured a smashed window, ripped open door and roof damage, according to WFSB Channel 3.
Channel 3 shared those images in a report on Saturday, May 31.

Bear sightings have been on the rise this spring (as they usually are every year) as they search for food after a long winter's nap.
