WATCH: Farmington High Grad's Miraculous Journey Chronicled In CIAC Video
The CIAC Wednesday released a very moving video about a special Farmington High School graduate's hoops prowess.

FARMINGTON, CT — The state's governing body overseeing high school sports posted a film online Wednesday night chronicling one Farmington High School graduate's miraculous athletic journey.
The 10-minute film posted by the CIAC depicts the heartwarming story of Thomas Kelly, a member of the Class of 2023 who earned his high school diploma last week.
Since coming to live with his adoptive family at age 3 along with his brother, the CIAC reports Kelly has faced all sorts of challenges, including emotional, intellectual and physical development delay

According to the CIAC, Thomas and his family have chosen to play unified sports, a scholastic program where athletes with special needs play on the same team as those without such obstacles.
Kelly's heartwarming moment came on the state of the state's biggest high school basketball event last March, during the CIAC Basketball State Championships at Mohegan Sun Arena.
