Farmington Man Turns Himself In Over Car Crash Case
He has been arrested and faces charges of manslaughter.

A Farmington man turned himself in this weekend as a suspect in a January car crash, Eyewitness News reports.
Damian Campanella, 23, was arrested on Sunday on a $100,000 court-set bond. He turned himself over to police after learning he was a suspect in a deadly Newington crash that took the lives of two people.
Sonia Evans, 56, of New Britain, and Theresa Gunn, 43, of Hartford, were killed after Campanella’s vehicle allegedly slammed into their minivan on Willard Avenue. Campanella was allegedly speeding and under the influence, although officials have not specified if it was drugs or alcohol.

Campanella was charged with two counts of first-degree manslaughter, two counts of second-degree manslaughter, first-degree assault, second-degree assault with a motor vehicle, illegal possession of narcotics, driving under the influence, reckless driving and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, the news station said.
