The protocols will remain in effect through noon on Thursday, Jan. 9. The Farmington Community Center, located at 321 New Britain Ave., Unionville, will be available to residents seeking shelter. The center is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am until 10 p.m. The warming shelter can be opened by calling the routine number at Farmington Police Department at 860-675-2400.
